Tribal Vibes
I like to think of my style as a colorful bohemian chic with a dash of 70s flair. I absolutely love colors, and when I came across this fabric → Multi Yarn Dye Jacquard at my local Jo Ann Fabric store I grabbed it immediately. It was love at first sight and I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it.
I used McCall's Pattern M7445. The top-View A was very easy to make as it only required four pieces. No notions were needed other than thread. I did make the pants-View C but I personally didn't like the way they looked with the top so I paired it with a linen romper I previously made. My plan is to pair the pants with a different top that I will be making in the near future. The instructions were very easy to follow and there were no fit issues as I chose my size according to McCall's Size Chart.
This top is hands down my greatest new creation. I cannot get over the bell sleeves. They make me feel like I just stepped out of a 70’s sitcom...and for me that's a good thing! :-) I also love that I can rock this top with just about any bottom in nearly any color. I can't wait to wear it again and again. :-)
